We seem to have spent a lot of our time recently out and about so it was really nice to be back in our village for Helen and Keith’s session. One of the challenges with photography is always finding new and interesting angles on what you’ve done previously. The great thing about our village is that it changes completely depending on the light, the time of year and the time of day and it was no exception for this particular session. The place is simply beautiful!
This was a really chilled session – the last of this week – and was lovely. I know Helen was feeling a tad apprehensive about being photographed but she really needn´t have worried: the shots we have caught are gorgeous. There´s a really mediteranean feel about the images which probably stems from the stunning light we had that was pinging around between the various walls and cobbles that we were using as a backdrop.
Both Keith and Helen have a really strong look about them which makes for great images. It was a surprisingly warm afternoon and so that summery look suited both of them perfectly. I think my favourite image is the two of them in the alley as it just has that slight edge to it and the location leaves you wondering where they were – my kind of image!
If our season continues like it´s begun with fantastic sessions like this one, it´ll be utterly stunning! Here´s to beautiful weather and gorgeous photos! Happy days…
