Well, from the lack of posts we’ve made recently, you may have surmised – correctly – that we’ve been just a tad busy. We’re currently in the midst of our festive seasonal rush and have been working flat out producing orders and closing as much out for the year as we can.
However, last night, we had the pleasure of revealing the images from one of the last weddings of this year’s season. Anushka and Andy’s wedding was just beautiful though the weather was (and this does appear to have been a running theme this year) just a little inclement.
It was held at Lain’s Barn near Wantage which is stunningly beautiful, though – at least from a photographic point of you – somewhat sparse where windows and natural lighting is concerned. However, the lack of daylight provided a welcome opportunity to create some really beautiful black & white images lit by candles and lamps – just stunning!
This wedding was made particularly special by Anushka and Andy and their family and guests who made both myself and Sarah feel unbelievably welcome. Thank you!
I have to admit, I don’t recall seeing so many guests with cameras as were present at this wedding, so I do apologise if I’m a consistent fixture in everyone’s photos! Both myself and Sarah work really hard at not being in the way – particularly of videographers and guests with cameras – but with unfortunate regularity, on turning around after grabbing a shot, I found myself in line of a camera, camera-phone or vid-cam of one sort or another. So to anyone reading this who has a lovely picture of the bride and groom inexplicably punctuated with images of me, I’m very sorry!
